Some will be aware of my passion for giant trevally and what started as an idea on Farquhar has gathered momentum into a full blown book. I have hunted across the globe for over 12 years now, and in that time I have learnt much from those I have been fortunate to fish with.
GT – A Fly Fisher’s Guide to Giant Trevally is an all-encompassing book that covers everything you might need to know about this species and trying to catch them on a fly rod. It is a combined effort by many who have a similar passion. The book is split into two sections, the first being a guide to the species, history, where to find them, tackle and techniques, flies, fighting and release.
The second half is dedicated to the different destinations they are found including anecdotal stories written by a collection of the pioneers, guides and experts that know them best.
The book is a 224 page jacketed hardback packed with stunning images throughout. The cost will be £30 +P&P and will be available in September.
