Save The Chimehuin River

About

The famed Chimehuin River is one of the legendary classics of Patagonia. Its pristine waters that flow from the Andes have been gin-clear and clean from the very beginning of time. It is undoubtedly one of the most important waterways in Argentina. The fabled waters of the Chimehuin and its trout face the threat of serious pollution: the sewage system of the town of Junín de los Andes pours directly into the river, as we can see on the video scenes.

Actions

Fly dreamers has direct contact with the local community and fishing guides of the affected area. As soon as we were informed of this situation we started sharing the information through all of our communication channels and other media outlets in Argentina. We also contributed in spreading the word about the Change.org campaign to help stop this disaster. Sadly, the battle is still being fought. The battle against the pollution of the Chimehuin river is still on. You can get in touch with us right here. We will provide information on how to collaborate with this project. Thank you.
