Current Conditions
The upper Colorado from Pumphouse down to Dotsero is icy in spots but there is now plenty of open water and the fishing is picking up. Try open water around State Bridge and Dotsero where the sun keeps the river free of ice.

More warm weather for the next week with temperatures in the 40's and 50's during the day. This is a great chance to get out and experience some good fishing during a tough time of year! The Lower Colorado will be the place to be for a mid-winter float trip! Midge hatches are becoming thicker each day and the trout are feeding well. Golden stonefly nymphs and BWO nymphs are also very active.

We generally focus our efforts on the Lower Colorado River from Glenwood Springs down to Rifle during the winter. The Low View more...
