After a few weeks of rain or mad wind, we finally had a small window to head south. @team_awe_son teammate on IG, Gus Montoya and I have been trying to get back to glass waters for over a year now with weather conditions and life in general as something always seems to come up. But with a sharp eye on the doppler, we saw a small window of some very calm conditions to head out on his new Gheenoe.
South bound at 4am into Everglades National Park aka "Flamingo" and tailing redfish were the target. Just as we started to pole into a fishy area, a dense fog was rolling in on us.
