Starting to see an uptick in the number of Wild Winter Steelhead coming into the system the last few days. This time of year requires a lot of flexibility to work around Mother Nature and her winter storms, but if you are prepared and ready to get out when conditions are right (clearing and dropping river levels), the rewards can be huge. I generally prefer to swing flies for steelhead, but when times get tough, a bead under an indicator can get a tug.
