Squamish River

From: 07/30/2019
To: 08/01/2019
Type of Water: Freshwater
Species: Pink salmon
We're very happy to announce that the Pink Salmon have started showing up in good numbers and good sizes too! Our most recent fly fishing guided trips on the Squamish River near Vancouver BC have produced some very nice results. Pinks are ranging in size from about 4 lbs to 10 lbs. We use 7 or 8 weight rods, Galvan fly reels loaded with Rio floating line and tipped with short Rio T-11 sink tips. These are great setups and make fly fishing possible for even the beginners. Vancouver area Pink salmon will be running the entire month of August and into September. After that the Coho, Chum and Chinook will keep our lines tight from late September and well into November.
