Type of Water: Freshwater
Species: Grayling , Marble Trout
The Učja enters from Italy and covers 6.1 km before it enters the Soča. It is a swift alpine river, but very inaccessible. Access is somewhat easier only at the country border and near its confluence, below Žaga. Fly fishing district is managed by Angling Club Tolmin. Its blue-green pools are home to the indigenous marble trout and grayling near the confluence.
Regarding the difficult accessibility and harsh terrain, we suggest that only highly experienced and fit anglers challenge their self at this river.
