Fly-fishing with my nephew Greg.Vaal river drift. 21 January 2012. We landed roughly 20 fish between the 4 of us, of which all were small mouth caught in the rapids. We did attempt to get some Largies in the deeper waters but no luck in that department, even though there was so much movement. All the fish were very healthy and in good condition. We started the drift from Seekooigat. The water level was not at it's lowest but not too high either
