CDC Ant

I like simple and essential flies and many of my CDC patterns are tied with one feather

Steps

Step 1

I tie a CDC hackle on hook grub

Step 2

Wrap the hackle around half of hook, tie it and cut excess.

Step 3

I shift the CDC beards to right and tie them on the hook. By doing so, I get the ant abdomen.

Step 4

I shift again to right the beards so I get the ant chest.

Step 5

I raise the beards to get wings Ant

Step 6

Tie the head of the fly

Step 7

Fly finished
