Step 1
Tie on a grub hook a CDC hackle in half lengthwise.
Step 2
Wrap the tying thread, to broad coils, around the CDC hackle and the hook.
Step 3
When I reached the length I wish to have the body of the fly, I go back crossing the turns of tying thread with ones that I wrapped earlier.
Step 4
I change position to the hook and cutting the tip of hackles, leaving some fiber to get the tails.
Step 5
I tie a rooster hackle on the other half of the CDC hackle
Step 6
wrap the rooster's hackle around the CDC hackle.
Step 7
Put the fly in position to start tying, tie the rooster's hackle on the hook and cut the excess.
Step 8
tie the head of the fly
Step 9
Cut the CDC hackle, leaving a part of it.
Step 10
