MATERIALSHook: Mustad 9672 or similar.Thread: 3/0 - black.Tail: squirrel tail dyed black.Body segments: red wool dubbing.Collars: black goat hair.
Steps

Step 1

Use a tuft of black squirrel tail hair to make the tail of the fly.

Step 2

Build a round collar using goat hair. Use your nail point to sparse the hairs.

Step 3

Build a round collar using goat hair. Use your nail point to sparse the hairs.

Step 4

Repeat step 2 for the second segment of the body.

Step 5

Repeat step 3 next to the hook eye. Whip finish and lacker the head.
