Step 1

I take a CDC hackle

I insert the CDC hackle in an incision made in a foam cuboid. I highlighted there incision with a ballpoint pen.

The hackle is inserted into the cuboid

I cut the CDC fibers that come out of the foam cuboid

The tuft of CDC fibers obtained by cutting.

Step 6

I take the tuft on the two ends and twist it.

Step 7

The tuft of fibers is twisted.

Step 8

I tie the tuft of twisted fibers on a grub hook.

I lift the excess of CDC fibers with some cross-loop of tying thread.
