Es, sin lugar a dudas, uno de los ríos con mas variantes de pesca y rendidores de la Patagonia Norte. Es el rio de mayor importancia en la zona que corre dentro de un amplio valle donde en algunos sectores puede llegar a ensancharse aproximadamente hasta los 35 mts., pero, aun así, puede ser vadeado fácilmente. Es un río que tiene todas las características que un pescador sueña, con correderas, pozones, diferentes brazos que forman islas, piedras, arboles, y costas con vegetación y por sectores con grandes paredones. Aquellos que optan por flotarlo podrán apreciar aun mas los diferentes accidentes del rio y se verán recompensados con gran cantidad de piezas capturadas. Hay una gran población de salmónidos, principalmente arco iris y marrones, las cuales en promedio superan el kilo de peso. Sin embargo, es común a principios y fines de temporada capturar algún trofeo, ya que grandes marrones se establecen en su curso para desovar y, por ende, alimentarse de ninfas, pancoras, huevos y alevinos, saliendo con cierta frecuencia grandes portes de entre 3 Kgs. y 4 Kgs. y, excepcionalmente algunos aún mayores. Por si fuera poco, durante la jornada de pesca tendremos la posibilidad de avistar ciervos, jabalíes, guanacos, cóndores y todo tipo de aves, las cuales las hay en abundancia. Rinconada Lodge es un nuevo emprendimiento ubicada dentro de la Estancia Huechahue, cuya experiencia en el campo asciende a más de treinta años, con los paseos a caballo reconocidos a nivel local y en exterior. Rinconada Lodge viene a revolucionar el servicio ofrecido a nuestros huéspedes y promover la pesca en uno de los lugares estratégicos del norte de la Patagonia, uniéndose a las otras actividades.
