Located on a mountainside in sector 3 of the famed Matapédia River, the 4 star lodge overlooks the Routhierville pool and the appalachian mountains, only a few minutes away from the world renown Glen Emma fishing sector.
The 'Green' lodge, a 2011 new construction, is made totally of local wood, a renewable materialthat gives a warmth ambiance and a rustic look.

We are the only outfitter lodge that offer guiding upstream of the Matapédia village in sector 1 and 3.
The Matapedia river is an early river, the Causapscal salmon strain appear in the Matapedia river in early May.
Most of these salmon, generally females of considerable size, will go directly into the Causapscal River, one of the major tributaries of the Matapedia.
The Matapedia Atlantic salmon strain apear in mid june and are found in many pools and the water level can be medium to very high. These salmon are silver bullets and quite big; 18 to 30 pounds and more!
When the major run arrives in the beginning of July in the Matapedia, you can expect salmon of 10 to 22 pounds. Later in mid-July, grilse of 4 to 8 pounds will appear, but it is not surprising to see them at the end of J View more...une and beginning of July.
Big flies are the thing at the beginning of the season and as the season advances smaller ones and dry flies are needed. We recommend single hook for easy catch and release.
Thereafter, depending on the waters levels, the months of August and September can be quite exciting when the late salmons appear in the river. These months are excellent for dry fly fishing.
Most of the pools upstream are full with many salmon of different sizes and a few monsters…just for you!
The Matapedia is not only recognized as one of the best Salmon rivers in the province of Québec, but throughout the world for its wild Atlantic salmon.
Either with or without a guide services, this river is very accessible.
We have a small fly shop at the lodge that offers you all the best flies for the river, equipment and canoe rental.
The lodge rooms have been decorated with a focus on rustic focus in mind.
We have four rooms upstairs, each one with a unique decorating scheme and ambiance. We can accommodate up to 10 fishermen and visitors, individually or in groups :
Two rooms with double beds,
One room with one double and one single bed,
One room with two single beds.
One (en suite) room with a King bed and a private bathroom, access to the terrasse.
