Just 30 minutes from Ushuaia we have the magnificent Escondido Lake. This lake is located under one of the most classic of Ushuaia tourist viewpoints, located after the crossing the Los Andes known how "Paso Garibaldi".
Here we find the 3 species, brown, fontinalis (brook) and rainbow trout. It is possible to obtain trout of between 2 to 5 kilograms. There are several sectors to develop the activity, the two bays stand out, the North headwaters and the mouth of one of its tributaries located in the West of the Lake, these being the best areas of the many that it has.
A solo 30 minutos de Ushuaia tenemos el magnífico Lago Escondido. Este lago está ubicado bajo uno de los miradores turísticos más clásicos de Ushuaia, ubicado luego de cruzar la cordillera de los Andes, conocido como "Paso Garibaldi".
Aquí encontramos las 3 especies, trucha marrón, fontinalis (de arroyo) y arco iris. Es posible obtener truchas de entre 2 y 5 kilogramos. Existen varios sectores para desarrollar la actividad, se destacan las dos bahías principales, la cabecera norte y la desembocadura de uno de sus afluentes ubicado en el Oeste del Lago, siendo estas las mejores zonas de las muchas que tiene.
